MSc Student Ms Lida Ioannou - Award of Diploma of Excellence 25 October 2010
On 25 October 2010, Ms.Lida Ioannou, MSc student of GAIA, was awarded with the second Diploma of Excellence by Hydrotech Ltd for her thesis ‘Photocatalytic degradation of beta-blockers (atenolol and propranolol) in pure water and in urban wastewaters with TiO2 and solar irradiation’ that was completed in December 2009 (http://www.hydrotech-group.com/cz/novinky-vypis.php?id=16).
The awarding ceremony took place at Voronez II Hotel in Brno in the Czech Republic, and closed with a dinner.
