I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Cyprus. I am the director of the Mobile Communications and Networking (MCN) laboratory, which conducts research in the broad area of communication theory, communication signal processing, wireless communications and networks.

My research focus is on Wireless Communications. More specifically, I am interested in:
  • Cooperative networks (relay channel)
  • Wireless powered communications
  • MIMO systems
  • Diversity techniques
  • Full-duplex radio
  • Physical layer secrecy
  • Cognitive radio
  • Cross-layer design
  • System studies

  • [Aug18] The MCN Lab has several open phd positions in the area of Wireless Communication Theory. Topics of interest: 5G/B5G Communications, wireless powered communications, MIMO, URLLC, software-defined radio (USRP development). Please send me your CV and the names of two references- for more information, please contact me.
