Activities
All project beneficiaries participated in a number of site visits to wineries implementing successful environmental practices in Italy that were organised by the University of Cyprus between 17 and 20 January 2011. Three EMAS certified wineries were visited in west Sicily, while, a winery operating a membrane bioreactor wastewater treatment plant in Trento (north Italy) was also visited.
